How Bora hobs work

Through continuous experimentation and discovery, Bora devised an innovative system that draws off cooking vapours more effectively than ever before. Their state-of-the-art hobs offer efficient vapour extraction without the need for a hood.

There are two systems to choose from:

• A compact device with integrated extractor and 4 cooking zones
• A modular extractor system that freely combines with cooktops

 

You can also choose between two types of control:

• Touch operation on the cooktop
• Traditional control knob

 

Choosing the hob that’s right for you

The type of hob you choose may depend on the layout of your kitchen design, for example:

• Standard kitchen counters with a depth of 60cm
• Extra-deep kitchen counters with a depth of at least 70cm
• Cooking islands with a depth of at least 70cm

 

Then you can decide on the type of cooktop most suited to your style of cooking. These include:

• Induction
• Radiant heating element
• Gas
• Tepan stainless steel grill
• Wok

 

Let’s take a look at the latest range from Bora

Bora Professional 2.0

The Bora Professional 2.0 has extra deep 54cm cooktops to give you even more room to cook. This top of the range hob combines simple knob control with an integrated touch surface and digital display.

The low noise fan is integrated into the plinth area of the kitchen, and the extractor remains silent even at high power levels.

Bora Classic 2.0

The unique operating panel of the Bora Classic 2 works with the swipe of a finger. All the important functions can be accessed with just a single touch.

Because no space is taken up by controls on the cooktop, you can cook with four 24cm pots at the same time. And there’s no noise from the extractor – its optimum airflow makes the fan extremely quiet.

All the parts of the hob that come into contact with cooking vapours can be removed and put in the dishwasher – making this one of the easiest hobs to clean.

Bora Classic

With its minimalistic design and the completely flush installation of the extractor and cooktop, the Bora Classic blends seamlessly into the modern kitchen.

Because of its compact dimensions, it can fit into any size kitchen – it can even create additional space as it eliminates the need for an extractor fan.

Bora Basic

The Bora Basic combines cooktop and extractor system, incorporating an extremely low-noise fan, so there are no distractions when you’re cooking or entertaining.

The central operating panel and optimum arrangement of the cooking zone give you enough space to cook with four 24cm pans.

Bora Pure

The Bora Pure cooktop and extractor is ideal for flush installation. This hob will blend discreetly into any modern kitchen design.

In a unique feature, any cooking odours are neutralised by a highly efficient activated charcoal filter.
